How can I stop a scheduled or recurring poll that hasn't been posted yet from being posted?

After scheduling a poll, the poll creator received a confirmation message from Simple Poll. Only the creator of the scheduled poll can make these changes before the poll is posted. Is your poll already live in the workspace? If so check out this article instead.

Go to the Simple Poll app page, and make sure to choose the Messages tab. In the confirmation message, click the Edit Poll button.

In the  Edit Poll modal, you will see a section called Scheduling. Click Stop schedule to prevent the poll from posting and remove its schedule, or Edit schedule to make changes to the schedule.

note that after clicking the Stop schedule button, it won't be possible to set up the schedule again. You'll need to create a new poll.
