2024 Subscription Updates

Simple Poll is retiring legacy subscriptions starting on January 1, 2024. This retirement will affect customers who subscribed to a paid plan prior to October 15th, 2021. No action is required from you. If your workspace is using a legacy subscription, you will automatically be moved to the correct Premium plan.

Who's affected?

Customers who are currently subscribed to one of the following plans:

  • Simple Poll Manager Plan (Monthly)
  • Simple Poll Manager Plan (Annual)
  • Simple Poll Director Plan (Monthly)
  • Simple Poll Director Plan (Annual)
  • Simple Poll Small Business Plan / Simple Poll Business Plan

You will also have received communications from Simple Poll that indicate if you are impacted by the change. If you are not sure what plan your workspace is subscribed to, you can check by visiting your Simple Poll Billing Dashboard.

What's next?

Starting January 1, 2024, we will no longer support legacy plans from before October 15th 2021. All legacy plans will be automatically transitioned to the corresponding Premium plan at your next renewal date. To determine the correct plan for your workspace, we will use your workspace member count as of December 15th, 2023.

Why are these plans going away?

Since we launched our Premium plans in 2021, we’ve made substantial improvements to Simple Poll, without raising our legacy pricing. Based on customer feedback, we've created new features such as: multi question polls, more options for hiding and sharing results with others, new question types, templates, and ways to get more engagement with your polls. We are no longer able to support releasing new features on our legacy subscriptions, so it's time to say goodbye to them completely! All existing and new features are included in the Premium plan.

What can I look forward to in Premium?

As a Premium subscriber, you'll get access to all existing and new features. Immediately, you'll benefit from being able to use multi question polls. Multi question polls bring together the ease of poll creation with the flexibility of surveys so you can gather more insights, quicker. Our team is working on many new features for 2024, too! Why did I get this notice?

This support page provides you with more details on the notice we sent you describing changes to your subscription. That notice is sent to Simple Poll billing contacts and relevant Slack workspace owners and/or admins.

Your continued use of Simple Poll's services after January 1, 2024 is subject to these subscription plan and any relevant fee changes.

Do I need to take action?

There’s no action necessary for you at this time. Your subscription will automatically be moved to Premium at the new pricing on your first renewal after January 1, 2024. You will have immediate access to Premium benefits as of January 1, 2024 regardless of when your subscription renews.

If you wish to upgrade your subscription ahead of January 1, 2024 please reach out to our sales team at [email protected] as you may be eligible for a special rate.

If you wish to cancel your subscription you may do so by navigating to your Billing Dashboard at www.simplepoll.rocks and canceling your subscription from there. Please note that others in your organization may be relying on Simple Poll, and canceling your subscription will affect the entire Slack workspace.
