My Polls FAQs

Q. I'm a Slack Admin, and I was wondering if I can view the results for all the polls in my workspace or just the ones I created?

A. Currently, the ‘My Polls’ feature only shows the polls that you have created. If there is enough interest from customers to expand this feature to allow a Slack Admin to view ‘all polls’, we will definitely consider it for a future update.

Q. Is it possible to export poll results to a different file format aside from .csv?

A. Currently, the only option available for export is .csv, which is compatible with various operating systems and can be opened in both MS and Google office suites. If there is a strong interest from our customers for alternative export options, we will definitely consider adding that in a future update.

Q. Just wondering, if a poll is deleted in Slack, will its results still remain in the dashboard?

A. If a poll is deleted, it is removed completely from our servers, so it will no longer appear on the My Polls page.

Q. Is the My Polls tab available on all Simple Poll plans?

A. Of course! Regardless of the type of plan you are on, we want our users to have the best possible insights into the data that their polls yield.

Q. Wondering how to navigate from viewing the poll in Slack to the “My Polls” page in the dashboard? And how can I return to the Simple Poll App in Slack?

A. The 'Results' tab gives you a link to check out those results on the 'My Poll' page.

Clicking on the 'Open' button will take you to the 'My Polls' dashboard.

Once you're in the 'My Polls' results, you can easily go back to Slack by clicking on the 'Open in Slack' button found at the bottom of each results page.

Clicking on the 'Open in Slack' button will return you to Slack.

Q. Wondering if I can access the My Polls page from my mobile phone?

A. Absolutely! You'll be delighted to know that you have complete access to your My Polls, even while you're on the go!
