How do I update my payment method?

Accessing the billing settings (and updating your payment method) for your Simple Poll subscription depends on the plan you're on. We've included the difference below, but for most of our customers, if you set up the plan yourself or you're a Slack admin/owner you should be able to update the payment method.

Small Business Plan (legacy plan) or Premium Plan: The person who set up the plan i.e the Simple Poll billing manager & any Slack admin/owner can manage billing settings.

Manager Plan or Director Plan (legacy plans): Only the person who set up that plan i.e the Simple Poll billing manager can manage billing settings.

To update the payment method:

Head to the Billing dashboard here: https://simplepoll.rocks/dashboard/my/billing/ and click on Manage billing

From here, it will load Stripe's billing portal where you can manage your billing settings. First, click on Add payment method.

You will then be presented with a new screen asking for the payment details required for us to process the subscription. Please complete all of these boxes, ensure "Use as default payment method" is checked, and once complete click on Add.

You'll see the new payment settings page has been updated with your new payment card, from here you can now delete the old card if it's expired or no longer in use. To do this, click on the Three dot menu.

Click on delete.

Then click on Delete payment method.

Once complete you'll see you only have one payment method - the new card we added earlier! 🙌
